A Little about Anime
The word “anime” spans a whole genre of animated storylines that are as diverse as they’re fresh and exciting. Anime series encompasses a wide variety of themes, and most of them reflects the author’s core beliefs and feelings in a refreshing and appealing manner.
In modern times, the word “anime” is almost synonymous with a Japanese culture and style of animation. It has as much a part of society as the newspaper or magazine. Most anime series aired on TV are actually derived from their manga counterparts, and the word is basically an abbreviation of animation, but specifically cartoon or comic animation. In fact, manga is a very popular form of literature in Asian countries, and a lof of manga titles are actually have a basis on local historical or contemporary events. The power to delve into the rich, deep history of other places is one of the biggest appeals of watching anime. A lot of people like it because it is simply “different”.
However, it might surprise many to know that there is not a lot of differences between Western and Eastern animation. Both share many common techniques and approaches. However, there are visible differences in the styles and techniques used to produce the two different types of animation. The trend towards Western animation has been towards using more sophisticated computer assisted imaging technology. In contrast, many famous creators of anime in Japanstill prefer to do things using more traditional methods, and are less reliant on computers and technology.
Anime is more than just about the storyline. Anime games represent a long list of computer games that are influenced by the anime or manga. They have become become important icons and symbols for some of the young generation. It’s a wonder to note how the beautiful anime characters exerts such a lasting impression on lots of children, and therefore, their insatiable appetite for the anime characters has increased once the anime games have been introduced.
One of the most popular anime series of all times is InuYasha. InuYasha is the Japanese word for “dog spirit” and have watched anime episodes of InuYasha before, you’ll find this title indeed fitting. The story is about a time-traveling student, Kagome Higurashi, who meets up with a mystical character called Inuyasha. Together, and along with other exciting anime characters, they embark on great and dangerous adventures to fight and protect the Jewel of Four Souls. This jewel gives hugely increased powers to anyone who has it and will mean catastrophe if it falls into the wrong hands.
